We've been back home for about four months now, so this is long overdue - but THANK YOU to all the travelers who participated in Stonehill's first Alumni Travel Program!!
Thank you so much for your flexibility, your eagerness to learn, and your comraderie. I think all of us enjoyed each other's company nearly as much as we enjoyed seeing the Irish countryside.
A special thanks to Prof. Richard Finnegan for all of his insight along the way. The trip would not have been the same without you!
I have heard from so many of the Ireland travelers since the trip. From sharing photos with each other to catching up at a Stonehill event; and everyone has the same questions: When and where is the next trip??
So I am happy to announce the second Alumni Travel Program, "Masterpieces of Italy". This trip is also a 9-day, 7-night excursion. The trip will feature Florence, venice, Assisi, San Gimignano, Siena, Rome and more! With Assistant Professor of Fine Arts Allyson Sheckler serving as our faculty guide, many of the trip's highlights will include museum and cathedral visits to view famous works of art. Travelers will depart from Logan Airport on Sunday, october 5th and we will return to Boston on Monday, October 13th.
The specific itinerary is not 100% set at this point but we expect everything to be finalized within a few weeks. At that point we will begin taking reservations. Please call the Alumni Office at 508-565-1343 if you want to receive the registration materials and more detailed trip information.
