The first Alumni Travel Program, Ireland 2007, is slated for September 30 - October 8th. Forty-eight travelers will depart Boston and head to the Emerald Isle. We are fortunate to have Richard Finnegan '64, director of the College's Irish Studies Program, serve as our faculty guide.
The trip will include stops in Adare, Killarney, the Dingle Penninsula, the Ring of Kerry, Cobh, Dublin, Galway, the Cliffs of Moher, and Burren.
On June 6th many of our travelers gathered for a special meet and greet reception in Donahue Hall on the College's campus. This event was a great opportunity for us to meet each other and chat with Prof. Finnegan, who provided reading lists and movie suggestions for those interested. Our travelers include alumni who graduated in the 1950s through the Class of 2005. This diversity should allow for some great interactions throughout the trip.
